It's crazy that terms like these are so similar to Facebook's actual terms. I think even if people bothered to actually read through them they would still end up agreeing because, like you said, they are so addicted to the product that they wouldn't even care. Also, if you've already agreed to the terms of service for one social media site you may as well do it for the rest of them because your data is already out there.
